The Chapter's Leadership Team
changes every 6 months. During a member's term as part of the
Leadership Team he/she receives free membership. All team leaders
must attend BNI team leader training to once asked to me on the
membership team.
The training helps that member achieve the best
results possible for the chapter. The main aim is to grow the
chapter and pass to each other as much business as possible.
The Leadership Team of all BNI
chapters consists of:
• Chapter Director
• Membership Co-ordinator
• Secretary/Treasurer
Chapter Director:
1. Sets the overall strategy for the Chapter in conjunction with the
Leadership Team.
2. Runs the weekly meeting ensuring that the BNI agenda is followed
closely
3. Acts a figurehead for the Chapter to local businesses, press and
other business organisations
Above all else, the Chapter Director leads by example!
Membership Co-ordinator:
1. Chairs and runs the Membership Committee which vets all
applications to join or renew membership
2. Produces weekly reports on numbers of visitors and referrals
3. Produces a monthly Membership Committee report
Secretary/ Treasurer:
1. Handles the process of new members joining and existing members
renewing membership every year or 2 years
2. Reminds members when renewal fees are due and ensures payments
are made
3. Deals with the Chapters bank account and financial status.
